I am Sandra Miller, RN, LCSW, LMFT, CHWC. I have been a nurse for many years, working in hospitals on medical, surgical and oncology units, and coronary and medical intensive care units. Later in life I pursued my interests in mental and relational health care and obtained licenses in Clinical Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy. More recently, I obtained certifications for Health and Wellness Coaching and added coaching to the services I offer. I am also an AAMFT Approved Supervisor and provide supervision to Marriage and Family Therapist Associates who are working towards the Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) designation.
I am a member of the American Association for Marital and Family Therapy, International Coaches Federation and the National Society of Health Coaches.
I call my practice "Well Beings" because I believe that all people are doing the best they can in the present moment. I also believe that all people strive to reach an optimum level of wellness, and seek to be their best selves in the physical, relational, work, spiritual, creative and social realms of their lives. I believe that this is true across the continuum of life, through all ages, stages and life transitions.
In my work I strive to create a safe and inclusive environment, and welcome people of all ages, genders, races, ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, religious and spiritual beliefs.
